A turtle enjoys the sunshine while sniffing flowers nearby.
This wall hanging incorporates repurposed ceramic tiles, broken dishes, vintage china and glass gems, on a wooden base.
Approx 8" x 10".
Hole in between tiles for hanging on a nail.
This is in the "pique assiette" tradition of mosaics, using found and upcycled objects to create a scene or picture with multiple textures.
All my turtle mosaics are inspired by Hazel and the other local box turtles who visit me each summer.
