This mosaic incorporates broken dishes, vitreous glass, glass gems on an upcycled wooden base, along with a whimsical wire hanger.

This is in the "pique assiette" tradition of mosaics, using found and upcycled objects to create a scene or picture with multiple textures.
All my turtle mosaics are inspired by Hazel and the other local box turtles who visit me each summer.
