Small terra cotta planter with freeform design in green and yellow. Top rim has a darker green glaze.
There is no hole in the bottom; this is meant to hold a plant in a small plastic pot. The grout has been sealed and it is weather-resistant, though the mosaic will be preserved longer if the pot is brought inside during freeze-thaw periods.
Approx 4" high and 5" diameter
This is in the "pique assiette" tradition of mosaics, using found and upcycled objects to create a design with multiple textures.
