Botanical scene -- is it flowers or palm trees? -- in unusual colors of brown and aqua.
This mosaic has a few little surprises: pop-out square glass beads with tiny red flowers; a maker's mark from the bottom of a plate; and a butterfly.
Made from many different plates and crockery, plus some sliced stone from a necklace I got at a church sale.
Approx 16" x 11"
Hanging hardware on back.
This is in the "pique assiette" tradition of mosaics, using found and upcycled objects to create a scene or picture with multiple textures.
